The Galway Science & Technology Festival was launched in 1998 to try and bridge the gap between students and industry regarding the Science subjects.  The Festival has grown over the 13 years and become an annual fixture for all those involved including Students, Teachers, Parents, Universities and Industry throughout the county.

The Festival's aim is to inform, educate and inspire young students to choose the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects as their chosen field of study and future career which in turn will continue to provide excellent graduates required to build a strong knowledge economy.
