The Imagine Science Film Festival aims to bring together scientists and filmakers.  The event organizers believe that this collaboration creates an effective medium for educating the public about issues in science.

One of the films to be featured in this year's competition is "Creation," a film about the life of Charles Darwin. There will be several other feature film events as well as a series of kid-friendly science shorts.

Many of the events take place at IndieScreen in Brooklyn, but there are multiple event locations across the city so be sure to check the website for details on all the screenings.
