In June 2012, Seattle will host the area's first science festival.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, the region's schools, universities, cultural institutions, research centers and businesses will use this important milestone as an opportunity to come together to celebrate the importance of science and technology. Join members of the region's community of innovators for fun, interactive programs that showcase Seattle's passion for science and technology. The Seattle Science Festival will be a unique collaboration among organizations of varying sizes and missions, fueled by the best scientific and educational resources this region has to offer, and led by the Pacific Science Center.
