Scientists, science enthusiasts and families looking for fun descended upon Montgomery College's Rockville campus on Sunday as the Rockville Consortium for Science celebrated the 20th year of its popular Science Day.
The event, aimed at educating people on the sciences, has grown throughout the years and exhibits have spread through new parts of the college campus.

Across campus, college professors showed the many ways that chemistry can be illuminating, mixing chemicals to make colorful glowing liquids and illustrating the flammable nature of finely ground powders.
