Review of Last Year's Techfest in September, Get Ready For This Year

Prepare yourself for this year's Techfest in September in Aberdeen, Scotland by reading all about last year's goings-on.  The 2009 festival featured 170 shows, events, and presentations.

The festival was split into two main components.  The first component was education for primary and secondary school students and over 11,000 students participated in the program.  The second component was a family activity weekend which had over 3000 participants last year.

In addition to these events there were a series of lectures.  Highlights included a talk from an entrepreneur working on the world's fastest car and a talk from a woman who films animal documentaries for the BBC.

Look out for the 17th Techfest this September 10-27.  Hopefully we can expect more of the same great events as last year!  Read on about last year here.
