science and technology October 12-17, 2010. The SciFest 2010 program offers something for everyone, from
families to school groups and children to adults.
The Saint Louis Science Center is set to host its third annual SciFest, featuring cutting-edge science and technology October 12-17, 2010. The SciFest 2010 program offers something for everyone, from families to school groups and children to adults.
SciFest, sponsored by Monsanto, is a six-day celebration of science and technology through captivating presentations, thought-provoking talks, wacky experiments and engaging hands-on activities. More than 90 individual sessions cover controversial, cutting-edge and everyday topics in science.
[S]essions include the science of the award-winning film Avatar, the effect of climate change on coral reefs, the crisis facing honeybees and the science of tea. Favorite St. Louis Cardinals players will also be on site, as well as staff from the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Rams. Full program information is available at scifeststl.org.
