Middle school and high school age students and their parents are invited to explore the exciting world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) at the second annual NH TechFest. The event will be at Windham High School October 23rd from 9AM to 3PM.  The event will include interactive mini-workshops, music, games, displays and demonstrations of the latest developments in science and technology. A returning favorite from last year is the apple-tossing Trebuchet contest, featuring teams of middle and high school students from throughout New England. Some of the featured STEM topics include robotics, industrial machines, safety devices, and research equipment. Scientific and technical organizations from throughout the region will be present to educate students and parents about educational and career opportunities in STEM.  Read the full article here.
