Partner with Festivals

Science festivals reflect the communities in which they occur. They simply are not possible without the participation of a broad base of partners, sponsors, and caring citizens.

Volunteer

With so much happening at the same time science festivals must depend on a dedicated corps of volunteers, especially in the months immediately before a festival. Help your community celebrate science and engineering, and get a behind-the-scenes experience of festival programs.

Exhibit

Science festivals can involve hundreds of events and programs in a single week. Almost all of this programming is created and run by festival partners. Use the convening power of the science festival to reach new audiences, whether it is site visits to K-12 schools, public outreach in the community, a party at your place, or a booth at the festival main event.

Present

If you are studying or working in a field that involves science, technology, engineering, or math, science festivals provide the chance to share your work with the public. Propose your own festival programs, or use connections within your field to help a festival find the right presenter for an existing event.

Collaborate

Festival collaborators include organizations that are a part of the fabric of the community, such as universities, school systems, civic governments, and regional media outlets. Festival collaborators are often involved in the festival planning process and provide major in-kind support. Accordingly, collaborators share in the overall success of the festival and realize benefits that serve their own mission.

Sponsor

Festival events and programs are often free to attendees, but can be expensive to produce. Most science festivals rely on sponsors to make up the difference. Help festivals provide the enormous service of inspiring the public, and get a great return on your sponsorship by reaching a huge audience energized by science.
